Funeral services for Ella Marie Buckner will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Bro. Chet Johnson and Bro. David Farmer officiating. Interment will follow at Whispering Pines Cemetery in Minden. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2018 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Marie was born June 12, 1932 in Louisiana and entered into rest March 10, 2018 in Minden, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Buckner, Jr. two sisters, three brothers, and grandson, Shawn Barnett.
She is survived by her son, Charles Buckner and wife Anna of Minden; daughters, Margie Barnett and husband William of Minden, Dianne Blankenship of North Carolina, Reon Mathews and husband Richard of Bradley, Arkansas; brother, Clyde Dison of Vivian; twelve grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Barnett, Clint Barnett, Ben Barnett, DeWayne Barnett, Jonathan Middleton, and Pep Sitagata.
