Estate, scam workshop is Tuesday

Trailblazer RC&D in cooperation with the Webster Parish Police Jury is offering a special workshop for the elderly on Tuesday from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. at the Lakeside High School gym in Sibley. The event is free to attend.

Dayna Ryan, attorney at law, who specializes in elder law, will cover information focusing on helping older persons be aware of and avoid Internet fraud, scams, phishing and identity theft. She will also cover information on living trusts, testamentary (within will) trusts and special needs trusts.
