First Baptist Minden to host Women’s Grace Conference Sept. 27

First Baptist Church Minden will host its inaugural Women’s Grace Conference on September 27 from 9 AM to 2 PM. The event will feature worship, guest speaker Christine Gill, breakout sessions, and local vendors.

Registration is $30 and includes coffee and donuts, lunch provided by On The Geaux Catering, a t-shirt, and a swag bag. The deadline to register is September 12, either in person at First Baptist Minden or by scanning the QR code on the conference flyer.

Gill will lead the general sessions, while breakout sessions will cover a variety of topics. These include:

  • Seeds Women’s Center — Led by Amber Bradford, this session will provide information on services such as pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, nurse consultation, parenting classes, and the baby boutique.
  • Embrace Grace — Pam Morrow will lead this session about supporting young, single women with unplanned pregnancies through emotional, practical, and spiritual guidance.
  • House of Grace NWLA — Amy Barton will discuss the nonprofit’s mission of providing a Christ-centered home and life skills training for young women ages 18-24 facing homelessness.
  • Growing in Grace — Jodi Tuttle will address the challenges teen girls face and how God’s grace can guide them in faith, friendships, and daily life.
  • Grace-Filled Motherhood — Robin Tucker will speak on parenting through the lens of God’s grace, encouraging mothers to find strength and peace in their journey.
  • Grace in the Waiting — Becca Wilder, Lindsey Starkey, and Breayn Hardy will lead a session on trusting God’s timing during seasons of delay and uncertainty.
  • Grace in Grief — Roberta Kitchens will share her personal testimony of loss, healing, and faith.
