Free workshop on how to maintain a healthy fish pond

A free Fish Pond Management Workshop will be offered on May 14, 2024, at the Bossier Parish Central Library & History Center in Bossier City, Louisiana.  Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Biologist Jeff Sibley will discuss pond water quality, weed control, nutrient issues, pond stocking, and information on technical and financial assistance.

On-site registration begins at 5:15 p.m. on May 14, 2024, at the new Bossier Parish Central Library & History Center, 850 City Hall Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana, with Johnny’s Pizza.  The workshop begins at 6:00 p.m. and concludes at 7:30 p.m.  To pre-register or for more information on the workshop, call or text (318) 237-8350 and provide your contact information and name of workshop.
