Food 4 the Soul, in partnership with Project Reclaim of Louisiana, will host a free community meal and Christmas canned food drive later this month to support local families during the holiday season.
The groups will offer free dinner plates to the public on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, from 12 PM to 3 PM at the American Legion Hall, located at 119 W. Pine St. in Minden. The event is open to the community and will include a holiday meal at no cost.
In addition to the meal, Food 4 the Soul is organizing a Christmas canned food drive to collect nonperishable food items for families in need. Donation drop-off locations in Minden include Good Home Center, 304 Homer Road; State Farm, 704 Main St.; Century Loans, 1214 Homer Road; and Carter Credit Union, 918 Homer Road.
Food 4 the Soul is a local outreach organization focused on addressing food insecurity and supporting families in the community.
