Glenbrook linebacker Rhett Johnson signed with Southern Arkansas Friday morning during a ceremony at the school.
Johnson was a first-team Class 1A All-State selection last season. He was also the co-Defensive MVP in District 1-1A.
Johnson helped the Apaches go 10-0 in the regular season. Glenbrook advanced to the quarterfinals of the select Division IV playoffs, losing to eventual champion Ouachita’s Christian 28-27.
Johnson had 111 total tackles, including 11 for loss, and three fumble recoveries.
Southern Arkansas is a member of the Great American Conference in NCAA Division II. The Muleriders went 5-6 last season.
Other SAU signees included Haughton linebacker Connor Blank and Red River receiver Elijah Harper.
