Fourth of July closures

All local banks and their branches will be open Friday and Monday, but drive-thrus will be closed Saturday in observance of Fourth of July holiday.

The main branch of the U.S. Post Office on Monroe Street will close window service at noon on Friday , but mail delivery will remain as normal. Saturday mail delivery will be suspended and resume Monday, July 6.

In addition, all governmental offices will be closed on Friday, including Minden City Hall, The Webster Parish Courthouse and the Webster Parish School Board central office.

The Minden Press-Herald office will be Friday; however, newspaper delivery will take place as scheduled.
