Graveside services for Gary Keith Griffin will be held Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Gene Gibson of Unity Baptist Church of Cotton Valley officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2018 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana.
Gary was born June 27, 1953 in Springhill, Louisiana and entered into rest August 1, 2018 in Minden, Louisiana. As a child Gary attended Parkway Baptist Church. Growing up he enjoyed spending his summers at his grandparents in Calvin, Louisiana. He was a graduate of the class of 1971 from Minden High School. Gary worked in carpentry and hardware sales and retired from M&M Hardware. He loved spending time with his grandson and was an avid Saints Fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Ruth Griffin and brother, Bill Griffin.
He is survived by his son; Riley Griffin of Minden, daughter; Emily Love and husband George of Marion, sisters; Jan Starks and husband Ken of Natchitoches, Becky Sanders and husband Larry of Cotton Valley, sister-in-law; Mary Griffin of Alto, grandson; Caleb Love and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Lyn Sinclair, Keith McClung, Larry Sanders Tyler Welch, David Peddy, and Bill Weeks.
Honorary pallbearer will be Ricky Daniels.
