The Glenbrook junior high boys basketball team won the district championship Friday night.
The Apaches played River Oaks of Monroe in the finals, which were played at Prarie View in Bastrop.
The final score was 36-30 and was a tight game throughout.
The Apaches were led in scoring by ninth grader Peyton Wells with 22 points and eighth grader DJ Carter with 12.
With Wells being the only ninth grader, the Apaches should be very strong again next year.
