Funeral services celebrating the life of Glenn Honley were held Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Eastside Missionary Baptist Church in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Chet Johnson and Rev. Richard Methvin officiating. Interment followed at Lane Memorial Cemetery in Sibley, Louisiana. The family will received friends Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. at the church prior to the service. 

Glenn was born March 9, 1941, in Shreveport, Louisiana and entered into rest February 27, 2022, in Minden, Louisiana. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Armor Honley, son William George Honley, daughter Stacey Kirk, sister and her husband Maudine and Jack Hooker, and brother-in-law Tom Diviney.

He is survived by his wife Carol Powell Honley of Minden, son. Ronnie Reno (Alicia) of Heflin; daughters, Cindy McCormick (Jeff) of Minden and Lou Lehrmann (Kyle) of Trenton, Texas; sister, Claudine Dininey of Shreveport; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great great- grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be A.J. Shelley, Ross Reno, Colton Reno, Casey Powell, Clint Powell, Tyler McLemore,  John Hunter, and Greg Hunter. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Senior Men’s Sunday School Class.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to Eastside Youth Mission Fund at Eastside Missionary Baptist Church, 1201 Park Ave., Minden, Louisiana 71055.
