Funeral services for Miss Glenna Ann Utz, age 63, will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel in Springhill with the Rev. Ira Schilling and the Rev. Paul Zimmerman officiating. Interment will follow in Applewhite Cemetery in Cotton Valley under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.
Visitation was Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015 from 5 p.m. until 8 at the funeral home in Springhill.
Miss Utz was born on Dec. 2, 1951 to Samuel Glenn and Frances Ann Hilburn Utz in Minden and passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015 at her residence. Glenna was a lifelong resident of Cotton Valley. She was the only child of Dr. and Mrs. Utz. She was her father’s dental assistant for 30 of the 40 years Dr. Utz practiced. She was a member of Southern Methodist Church in Haughton and loved decorating the church, her home and yard for all the holidays.

She is survived by her cousins and friends. Miss Utz was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers will be Denis Rhymes, Justin Rhymes, Casey Rhymes, Sam Sherwood, Aaron Sherwood and Gabe Bennett. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Pool and Lon Park.
