The Greater Minden Chamber will host its 84th Annual Awards Gala on Tuesday, March 24, at the Minden Civic Center, recognizing businesses, leaders and organizations that contribute to the region’s growth and community life.
The event, themed “Together We Build. Together We Thrive,” is billed as the chamber’s largest annual networking and community celebration. Doors will open at 6:30 PM, with the program beginning at 7 PM. The evening will include dinner, award presentations and time for community fellowship.
Community members are invited to take part by voting for nominees in several award categories. Voting is open now and will close on February 18.
Award categories include Business of the Year, which recognizes companies for customer service, innovation and local economic impact; Small Business of the Year, honoring small businesses with significant community influence; Community Partner of the Year, awarded to organizations that strengthen community well-being; and Business Person of the Year, which highlights individuals noted for leadership, vision and commitment to the community.
Chamber officials said each nominee represents “excellence, service, and growth in our community,” and that public participation helps determine the final award recipients.
