Kyla Gross, a senior at Minden High and member of the Project Reclaim Youth Leadership Institute, recently participated in the National American Miss competition in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The program is centered around helping young ladies grow and expand their ideas about who they are and what they would like to achieve. Gross was awarded 1st runner up in the spokesmodel category which qualified her to compete in the national competition in California.
