H. L. was born April 26, 1936 in Minden and entered into rest Feb. 24, 2016 in Bossier City. He was a retired state inspector for the Louisiana State Highway Department and a mason.
He was preceded in death by his wife Janet Hanson.
He is survived by his daughter Jan Holloway and husband Kevin of Minden, sister Betty Hunter and husband Charles of Sibley, granddaughter Ashley Holloway James and husband Kenneth of Minden and four great-grandchildren.
