Kelly LeAnn Hackworth and Matthew David Madden of Minden are proud to announce their engagement to be married on July 2, 2016, in Beaver Creek, Colorado, with dinner and dancing to follow.
Kelly is the daughter of Steve and Jeannie Hackworth of Calhoun. She is the granddaughter of Winfred and Ina Hackworth of West Monroe, as well as the late Gertie Cornelius of Prairieville.
Matthew is the son of David and Connie Madden of Minden. He is the grandson of Russell and Ruth Adams and the late Harold Johnson, as well as James and Lyda Madden all of Minden.
Kelly graduated from West Monroe High School in 1998. She attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe where she graduated in 2004 with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. She is currently employed as a pharmacist for Walmart Pharmacy.
Matthew is a 2002 graduate of Glenbrook High School. He attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and Louisiana Tech University before taking his position as Louisiana Plant Manager for Madden Contracting, LLC.
