High school baseball: Glenbrook, Lakeside win

The Glenbrook Apaches and Lakeside Warriors won Monday.

Glenbrook defeated Providence Classical Academy 15-0 at Glenbrook and Lskeside downed North Webster 13-3 at Lakeside.

At Glenbrook, Davis Powell and RyderMalone combined on a four-inning one-hitter. Powell gave up one hit, struck out three and walked one. Malone didn’t allow a hit and walked one in one inning.

The Apaches had seven hits and took advantage of 10 walks. Kleaton Davis went 2-for-3 with a home run and four RBI. Darron Hollingsworth went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI.

Ryan Reagan had a double and two RBI. Brayden Watkins drew three walks and had two RBI.

Glenbrook improved to 2-7.

At Lakeside, Lakeside’s Drake Chreene went 2-for-2 with three RBI in the six-inning game. Brock Case went 2-for-3 and walked twice. Eric Jones went 2-for-3. Kaleb Rolen and Nate Wallace had two RBI each. Jake Glass pitched the first three innings for the win.

The annual Lakeside tournament starts Thursday at Lakeside and Minden. The Warriors (3-7) play Cedar Creek at 7:30.

North Webster (2-3) visits Red River Tuesday at 5.
