Glenbrook pitcher Easton Sanders has signed with Louisiana Tech.
Sanders went 9-2 overall last season. He pitched three complete games in the playoffs as the Apaches advanced to the select Division IV state championship game with victories over the No. 6, No. 3 and No. 2 seeds.
Sanders was 6-2 with a 1.33 ERA in the regular season. He had 83 strikeouts in 47 1/3 innings.
He also led the Apaches in the regular season with a .412 batting average.
Sanders was named first-team Class 1A All-State by both the Louisiana Sports Writers Association and the Louisiana Baseball Coaches Association.
Louisiana Tech went 45-19 last season and won the regular-season Conference USA championship. The Bulldogs earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament’s Arkansas Regional.
Sanders will join former Glenbrook teammate Hayden Harmon at Tech. Harmon is a sophomore pitcher.
