The Lakeside Warriors swept a District 1-2A doubleheader against Nortb Caddo 6-0 and 22-6 Monday in Vivian.
The victories gave Lakeside a sweep of the three-game district-opening series.
The Glenbrook Apaches won their fifth straight, defeating Haynesville 13-2 in five innings in a District 1-1A game in Haynesville.
At North Caddo, Hunter Sutton allowed just two hits in six innings in the first game. He struck out nine and walked only one.
Gage Williams went 2-for-3. Peyton Gray went 2-for-4 with three RBI.
Matthew Aguilera went 2-for-4 with a double. Jon Jon Dick also went 2-for-4.
Sutton went 3-for-5 in the second game. Jake Glass went 2-for-3 with four RBI.
Eli Campbell and Williams both had two hits and three RBI.
Aguilera had two hits, including a double, and two RBI. Jordan Isbell had a bases-loaded triple in the Warriors’ 10-run second.
Brock Case and Dick had one double each.
Lakeside (9-6, 3-0) is scheduled to begin a three-game district series at Loyola (5-12, 2-1) Thursday at 7.
At Haynesville, Glenbrook’s Easton Sanders went 2-for-2 with a double and four RBI. He also walked twice.
Seth Mangrum went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI. Jackson Waller had a double.
Landry Powell pitched all five innings. He allowed three hits, struck out eight and walked two.
Glenbrook (8-8, 2-0) is scheduled to visit Cedar Creek Thursday at 6.
