The Minden Crimson Tide defeated Homer 17-0 in a three-inning game at Griffith Stadium Monday.
Elsewhere, Lakeside fell to Grant 15-3 at Lakeside, Doyline lost to Zwolle 7-1 at Zwolle and North Webster fell to defending non-select Division III champion Sterlington 10-0 in a District 1-3A game at Sterlington.
At Minden, Kyler Ray went 2-for-3 with five RBI. Atlas Pineda had two RBI. The Tide took advantage of 10 walks and four hit-by-pitches.
Dakota Streetman gave up one hit, struck out seven and walked one.
Minden (17-6) begins a two-game District 1-4A series against Loyola Tuesday at Loyola at 6.
At Lakeside, Brock Case had two of the Warriors’ five hits.
Lakeside (5-17) hosts Mansfield in a District 3-2A doubleheader Tuesday at 5. Grant improved to 8-14.
At Doyline, Dario Galvez had two of the Panthers’ six hits. He also struck out eight in 5 1/3 innings.
Doyline (6-10) hosts Providence Classical Academy Tuesday at 5.
At Sterlington, North Webster dropped to 3-12. Sterlington improved to 17-4.
North Webster hosts Dodson Thursday at 4.
