The Tide led Choudrant 10-5 through five innings. The Aggies rallied with five in the bottom of the sixth and the game went into extra innings tied at 10.

Minden promptly scored four in the top of the eighth. But Choudrant answered with four.

The Tide took the lead for good in the ninth. After loading the bases on a walk and two hit-by-pitches, Jamal Carey drew a walk. Wilson brought home a run with a single. Barron Bower scored on a sacrifice fly by Keegan Pope.

Wilson went 3-for-6 with a double and three RBI. Bray Winston went 2-for-4.

Landon Brewer had two hits and three RBI. Jacob Jefferson had two hits and two RBI.

Hudson Brown had a single and drew two walks. Bower drew three walks.

Wilson got the final five outs for his first win of the day.

Against Lacassine, he allowed only one hit, struck out two and walked three in 6 1/3 innings. None of the three runs scored against him were earned. Bower got the final two outs.

Minden had five hits. Brown went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
