The Minden Crimson Tide will play the Haughton Bucs in the White bracket consolation finals of the ‘Doc’ Edwards Invitational Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Airline.
Minden (11-1) bounced back from its first loss with a 61-40 victory over Eunice in the White bracket semifinals Friday.
Haughton (9-6) defeated Ringgold 58-53 in the other semifinal.
Cameron Parker and Darnell Morris led the Crimson Tide with 13 and 12 points, respectively. Jaiden Franklin had 10. Carmelo Smith and Kameron Harris scored eight each.
Minden led 11-10 after the first quarter and 20-14 at the half. The Tide extended the lead to 38-26 after three quarters.
Eunice dropped to 7-7.
Elsewhere, the Minden Lady Tiders and North Webster Lady Knights fell in girls consolidation bracket games. Minden lost to Homer 46-38, and North Webster fell to Bossier 61-50.
The Lady Tiders dropped to 6-7 and the Lady Knights to 8-6.
