Minden swept Loyola in District 1-4A games Wednesday night in Shreveport.
The Crimson Tide won 59-52 and the Lady Tiders won 51-31.
Gerald Richardson and Cameron Parker led the Tide (12-8, 3-2) with 19 points each. Markavius Johnson chipped in eight.
Minden trailed 28-17 at the half after being outscored 16-7 in the second quarter. The Tide got going offensively in the third quarter and cut the deficit to 43-40. Minden then outscored the Flyers 19-9 in the fourth.
Easton Baker led Loyola (10-14, 2-2) with 15 points.
The Lady Tiders improved to 16-12 overall and 3-3 in district. Minden closes the regular season Friday against district leader Southwood at home.
Regardless of the outcome, Minden will be in the non-select Division II playoffs which begin next week. The Lady Tiders will be on the road in the first round.
Brooklyn Jefferson led seven Minden players who scored against Loyola with 14 points. Parys Gillins and Alexi Hatter scored 10 each. Lele Johnson added eight.
Loyola dropped to 6-19 overall and 1-4 in district.
