High school basketball: North Webster boys and girls, Doyline boys notch victories

The North Webster boys and girls and Doyline boys picked up wins Thursday night.

North Webster defeated Summerfield 78-39 in the boys game and 53-29 in the girls at North Webster.

Doyline defeated Weston 67-64 in a District 1-B game at Weston.

At North Webster, Nazaria Caldwell led the Lady Knights (9-11) with 19 points. Shakyra Hawkins added 13. Khloe Crayton scored seven points.

The Knights improved to 12-8. North Webster returns to District 1-3A play Friday with boys and girls games at Bastrop.

Doyline improved to 16-11 overall and 1-2 in district. The Panthers host Calvin Monday.
