The Minden Crimson Tide and Doyline Panthers picked up victories Tuesday night.
Minden defeated Gobsland-Coleman 73-64 at Gibsland-Coleman.
Doyline defeated Plain Dealing 64-35 in the Decari Markray Classic at BPCC. The second annual event honors former Doyline star and BPCC player Markray, who passed away in a car accident in Bossier City in October of 2021.
At Gibsland-Coleman, Minden led 48-46 after three quarters then outscored the Bulldogs 25-18 in the fourth.
Darnell Morris scored eight of his team-high 18 points in the quarter. Kameron Harris scored seven of his 16.
Cameron Parker also scored 16 in the game. Hudson Brown added eight, including a pair of 3-pointers.
Devery Moore and DeAvery Durham led Gibsland-Coleman with 20 and 19 points, respectively.
Minden (4-1) returns to action Nov. 28 against Lakeside at home. Gibsland-Coleman, a non-select Division V semifinalist last season, dropped to 3-2.
At BPCC, Damarion McClendon led Doyline with 29 points.
Cayden Mingo added 16. Jay Patterson had nine.
The Panthers (7-0) return to action Nov. 28 against North Webster at home.
