The Minden Crimson Tide fell to the Lakeview’ Gators 63-62 in double overtime Monday night in the St.,Mary’s tournament in Natchitoches.
It was the Tide’s second straight loss in double overtime. Minden (4-5) fell to Green Oaks 58-54 in the semifinals of the Brown Service Center Minden Holiday Classic on Dec.19.
Kameron Harris and Steven Lassien led the Tide with 19 and 16 points, respectively. Cameron Parker added 11 and Gerald Richardson 10.
The game was close throughout. Minden led 37-31 at the half and 46-42 after three quarters.The game went into overtime tied at 57.
Dayton Telsee led Lakeview (15-2) with 16 points. Bobby Reliford added 14, Kelton Carter 12 and Malique Prelow 11.
Minden concludes play in the tournament against Ebarb Tuesday at 11 a.m.
