The Minden Crimson Tide and Doyline Panthers will host first-round playoff games.

Minden (14-8), the No. 14 seed, faces No. 19 Leesville (13-15) in a non-select Division II first-round game Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $10.

Doyline (23-3), the No. 5 seed, plays District 1-B rival and No. 28 Castor (13-17) in a non-select Division V first-round game.

Castor handed Doyline its only district loss 71-63 on Jan. 26 at Castor. Doyline won the rematch, rallying for a 56-55 victory on Feb. 6 at Doyline.

Doyline reached the quarterfinals last season. The Panthers lost to No. 3 Fairview 91-77.

Minden is in the playoffs for the first time since 2016. The Crimson Tide last played a home game in the first round in 2011. That was also their last playoff victory.
