High school boys basketball: Minden wins in Lakeside Jamboree

The Minden Crimson Tide dominated Lakeside in the Lakeside Jamboree Thursday.

The Tide scored 54 points in two 10-minute halves.

Eight Minden players scored. Christian Lofton led Minden with 16 points. Cameron Parker added 12.

Carmelo Smith and Jaiden Franklin scored six each. Chris Harris, Marcus McClendon, Jekoye Knowles and Darnell Morris scored four apiece.

Brandon Jackson led Lakeside with five points.

Minden begins the season under first-year head coach Jacob Brown on Tuesday against Ruston at home.

Lakeside opens its season Monday at Claiborne Christian.
