High school football: Minden, North Webster fall in first round of playoffs

The curtain came down on the 2025 season in Webster Parish Friday.

The Minden Crimson Tide and North Webster Knights both lost in the first round of the playoffs,

Minden, the No. 12 seed, fell to No. 21 Wossman 35-14 at home in non-select Division II.

The Wildcats ended the Crimson Tide’s season for the second straight year.

Minden finished 5-6. Wossman improved to 5-6.

North Webster, the No. 23 seed, fell to No. 10 Church Point 42-7 on the road in non-select Division III.

The Knights finished 4-7. The Bears improved to 9-2.
