High school football: Schedules set for scrimmages, jamborees

The annual Pineland Jamboree is set for Friday, Aug. 25, at Homer.

The jamboree starts at 6:30 with Lakeside taking on Haynesville. 

That will be followed by Lakeside vs. North Webster, Minden vs. Haynesville, Homer vs. North Webster and Minden vs. Homer.

The Glenbrook Jamboree will also be Aug. 25. Ringgold, Lincoln Prep and Montgomery will join the host Apaches. It is scheduled to start at 6.

All four Webster Parish teams will have scrimmages Friday, Aug. 18.

Minden visits Benton, North Webster visits Mangham and Lakeside hosts Cedar Creek. Glenbrook will scrimmage Booker T. Washington and Jonesboro-Hodge at Jonesboro-Hodge.

Official starting times haven’t been announced but scrimmages generally begin at 6.
