The Minden Lady Tiders remained undefeated in District 1-4A with a 47-41 victory over the Booker T. Washington Lady Lions Tuesday night at BTW.
Minden (12-11, 4-0), Northwood (15-9, 4-0) and Southwood (20-8, 4-0) are tied for the lead. Minden visits Bossier Friday then closes the regular season with games against Northwood atbhome Tuesday and Southwood on the road Friday, Feb. 14.
Minden led 27-26 at the half and 34-32 after three quarters. It was still a two-point game with about four minutes left. The Lady Tiders then went on a 5-0 run to go up 44-37.
Brooklyn Jefferson added to her total of double-doubles with 23 points and 17 rebounds. She also had five assists, six steals and two blocks.
Shelby Glenn scored 13 points. She also had five assists, four steals and three rebounds. Travesti Byrd had nine points, six rebounds, five assists and four steals.
BTW dropped to 8-13 and 1-3.
Elsewhere, North Webster fell to Sterlington 56-22 in a District 1-4A game. The Lady Knights dropped to 13-11.
Nazaria Caldwell and Shakyra Hawkins led North Webster with nine and eight points, respectively.
The Lady Knights host Summerfield Monday.
