The Minden Lady Tiders ended a three-game slide with a 12-0 victory over Saline in five innings Tuesday at home.
Elsewhere, the Doyline Lady Panthers both dropped one-run games. Doyline fell to Forest 5-4 in eight innings at Forest and Glenbrook lost to Quitman 4-3 at Quitman.
At Minden, Lindsay Ryan went 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBI.
Lizzie Balkom went 2-for-3 with a double.
Leigha Kennon-Gilbert had a hit, two RBI and drew two walks.
Kylie Ryan pitched a one-hitter. She struck out 10 and walked only one.
Minden (3-3) is playing in the Sterlington tournament, which begins Friday.
At Forest, the Bulldogs scored a run with two outs in the bottom of the first extra inning to get the victory.
Doyline’s Lanie Gates went 2-for-3 with a double. Keily Sumlin had two doubles
Sariyah Gill allowed four hits and struck out eight in 6 1/3 innings. She walked only two and only one run against her was warmed.
Sumlin struck out three in the final 1 1/3 innings.
Doyline (1-2) visits Loyola Thursday.
At Quitman, the Lady Wolverines scored single runs in the bottom of the sixth and seventh to pull out victory.
Glenbrook’s Vivian Still went 2-for-4. Rebecca Mosley gave up just five hits and three earned runs.
Glenbrook (2-2) hosts Downsville Thursday.
