The Minden Lady Tiders fell to Calvin 5-4 in eight innings Monday night at home.
Kylie Ryan allowed only four hits and two earned runs. She struck out five and walked four.
Minden scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh to send the game into extra innings. The Lady Cougars scored one in the top of the eighth and held on for the win.
Five Lady Tiders combined for seven hits. Lizzie Balkom went 2-for-3.
Ryan, Jacey Adams and Leigha Kennon-Gilbert all had doubles.
Minden (3-7) visits Doyline Thursday.
