High school softball: Three Glenbrook, two Lakeside players make coaches’ All-State teams

Three Glenbrook and two Lakeside players have been named All-State by the Louisiana Softball Coaches Association.

Glenbrook senior infielder Gabi Brown, sophomore catcher Hallie Sutton and sophomore outfielder Gracie Heard were named to the Class 1A team.

Lakeside juniors Raleah Harris and Emily Jones were named to the Class 2A team at utility.

Brown batted .525 with 16 home runs and 42 RBI. Sutton batted.426 with 12 home runs and 42 RBI. Heard batted .500 with 34 RBI.

Jones, a catcher, batted .416 with 16 doubles, one triple, two home runs and 36 RBI. Harris, a shortstop, batted .330 with seven doubles, four triples, one home run and 22 RBI.
