High school track and field: Doyline’s Harris makes LSWA All-State team

Doyline rising senior Izayla Harris has been named to the Louisiana Sports Writers Association’s All-State Track and Field Team.

Athletes from schools in all classes were eligible for selection.

Harris made the the team in the 100-meter dash. Her time of 11.66 in the Region I-B meet was the best time in the state last season.

The other athletes selected in the 100 are Amairi Ashford of Patrick Taylor (11.72) and Sade Gray of Scotlandville (11.72),

Harris won the 100, 200 and 400 in the Class B state meet. She finished second in the triple jump.
