High school track and field: Glenbrook’s Sentell wins long jump in Castor meet

Glenbrook’s Chase Sentell won the boys long jump Wednesday in the Castor Invitational.

Sentell jumped 20 feet, 9 inches. DeAndre Clark of Castor was second with a 20-7.5.

Glenbrook’s Peyton Malone was second in the girls 100-meter dash in 14.21 seconds. Quitman’s Emayshia Wiley won in 13.75.

Other Glenbrook athletes posting top-six finishes were Connor Bolton (4th, boys 400), Hadley Haynes (5th, girls pole vault; 6th, 100 hurdles), Baylee Bondall (6th, girls shot put), Carson Powell (6th, boys 80).
