North Webster’s Xhailor McGlothan and Kylee Sanders won events in the girls division of the Haughton Buccaneer Relays Thursday at Haughton.
McGlothan won the 300 hurdles in 47.93 seconds. She finished .21 ahead of runner-up Zamarion Carter of Bossier.
Sanders won the triple jump with a leap of 33 feet, 10 inches. Airline’s Janiyah Boudreaux was second with a 33-7.
McGlothan and Sanders teamed with Tatyana Lawson and De’Maiyh Moore for a second-place finish in the 4X200 relay in 1:46.63. They finished just .17 behind Airline.
The foursome of Moore, Lawson, Tomiyah Hawthorne and Anekah Coleman finished third in the 4X100 relay in 50.21. Airline won in 48.86.
The Lakeside foursome of Lexi Bradley, Annie Cooper, Bailey Mangrum and Chase McKenzie finished third in the 4X800 relay in 10:54.99. Parkway won in 10:34.51.
North Webster’s Moore was fourth in the girls long jump.
North Webster finished fifth with 39 points. Airline won with 129.
North Webster’s Xaeliin Gladney was third in the boys 200 in 23.12. North DeSoto’s Braylen Delton won in 22.54.
North Webster’s Slade Lockey took third in the pole vault with a 10-0. Benton’s Miller Malley won with a 14-0.
Minden’s Porter Neal and Christian Loftin placed fourth in the 400 and 800, respectively.
Lakeside’s Chad Davis was fourth in the javelin.
Fifth-place finishers included Glenbrook’s Mattison Fowler (girls 1,600), North Webster’s Madison McGraw (girls 3,200), Lakeside’s Lexi Bradley (girls 800), Lakeside’s Tamarjah Ferrell (boys triple jump), North Webster’s Avante Curry (boys 300 hurdles) and North Webster’s Micah Lorenz (boys 800).
District meets are next week. The 1-3A meet is Wednesday at Wossman. The 1-2A meet is Wednesday at Lee Hedges Stadium. The 1-4A meet is Thursday at North DeSoto,
The 1-1A meet is Wednesday at Plain Dealing. The 1-B meet is Wednesday at Quitman.
