City Council meets tonight, WPSB, WPPJ meet next week
With New Year’s Day falling on a Monday in 2018, several government bodies will have different dates for their monthly meetings.
The Webster Parish School Board and Minden City Council usually meet on the first Monday of the month. To avoid the holiday, the school board will meet on Monday, January 8. The City Council will hold their meeting tonight at 7 p.m.
As reported over the past few weeks, the Webster Parish Police Jury has been in the process of moving buildings over the holidays. Due to this move, as well as January 2 being a state holiday, the police jury meeting was moved to Tuesday, January 9.
