Houma man arrested in Lakeshore drive burglary

by Minden Press-Herald

A Houma man was arrested on March 13 in connection with a burglary that occurred on Lakeshore Drive last November. Minden police officer Clingon traveled to the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office to serve an active felony warrant on Keith Brooks, 43, for aggravated burglary.

The burglary took place on November 23, 2023, when the resident’s former house cleaner organized the crime. The cleaner had been fired approximately six months prior. She called two friends from the Baton Rouge area to pick her up, and together they drove to Minden and burglarized the residence, stealing several guns and other items. The stolen guns were later sold in the south.

The woman is currently in custody at Bossier Max for Bossier warrants. The other man, Joseph Rogers, is still at large in the southern area.

Anyone with additional information on this case is urged to contact the Minden Police Department.
