Jack Wesley Gamble Jr., 64, of Austin, Texas, retired entrepreneur, died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016, at home from kidney and liver failure.
Jack was born Feb. 20, 1952, in New Orleans, the son of Jack Wesley Gamble Sr. and Doris Jean Reed Gamble. Jack was graduated from Louisiana Tech University and received an MBA from Wharton School of Business in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Jack was an army ranger and 100 percent disabled veteran.
Jack is survived by his wife, Annette Marie Swint Gamble; two children, Jack Wesley Gamble III of Dallas and Amanda Karoline Dawson of Austin, Texas; one sister, Jeana Gamble Hale of Minden and one brother, Dr. Matthew D. Gamble of Baton Rouge; and his rescued cat, Little Boy.
The family will gather for lunch at 11 a.m. at the Church of Christ Fellowship House before the celebration of life service.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016, at 1 p.m. at the Church of Christ located at 200 North College in Minden.
