For Coach Lockett, serving others has always been more than a responsibility—it is a calling. For 12 years, she had the privilege of coaching students in Webster Parish, where she discovered that coaching was about much more than what happened on the court. It was about building character, encouraging confidence, teaching discipline, mentoring young people, and preparing students for life.
Throughout the years, Coach Lockett has served in various administrative roles and on several boards and committees. These experiences have strengthened her ability to listen, work with others, make sound decisions, and serve with accountability and integrity.
Her heart has always been with young people. She has mentored and supported many students along the way and believes their success should extend far beyond athletics and the classroom. Her goal is to help create an environment where every student has the opportunity to learn, grow, succeed, and be prepared for life after graduation.
If elected, Coach Lockett is committed to representing District 12 with excellence, dedication, integrity, and a willingness to serve. She will listen to the concerns of parents, educators, students, and community members while working to ensure District 12 has a strong voice on the Webster Parish School Board.
Coach Lockett often describes herself simply as “a little coach with a big heart.” But behind that big heart is a passion for young people, years of leadership experience, a commitment to community, and a vision for the future.
She has spent years encouraging students from the sidelines. Now, she is ready to advocate for them at the table.
