Funeral services for Jered Douglas Ford will be held Friday, February 9, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Byron Longino officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Springs Cemetery in Homer, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Jered was born September 4, 1979, in Homer, Louisiana and went to his heavenly home February 7, 2024, in Bossier City, Louisiana. He was a correctional officer with David Wade Correction Center. Jered loved to fish.
He is survived by his parents, Cindy Reid and husband Jimmy of Sibley and Doug Ford and wife Suzanne of Homer; fiancée Jenny Price; son Kayden Ford of Heflin; sister, Kelly Peoples and husband Avery of Ft. Hood, Texas; brothers, Chad Ford and wife Jessie of Haughton and Kyle Roberts of Sibley.
Pallbearers will be Adam Ford, Danny Ford, Don Ford, Jeremy Wallace, Avery Peoples, and Tom Green.
