Funeral services for John M. (Buster) Bratton will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 24, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden with the Rev. John Hawthorne officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
John was born Aug. 30, 1927 in Kelly and entered into rest Jan. 20, 2016 in Minden.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Lillie Bratton of Minden, sons Neal Bratton of Amarillo, Texas, Bruce Bratton and wife Margarita of Minden, daughter Michele Temple and husband Norman of Minden, sisters Ruth Gintz of Pineville, Virginia Cruse of Grayson, Clara Rutledge of Columbia, brothers Virgil Bratton of Pineville, Darrell Bratton of W. Monroe, granddaughter Stacey Baugh and husband Jeremy of Minden, and great-grandchildren Jerestin, Jayden, and Tristan Baugh.
