Jurors keep millage rates

Millage rates will remain the same for the 2017 fiscal year.

In Tuesday’s meeting, the Webster Parish Police Jury unanimously adopted the millage rates by resolution.
These taxes are collected for general purposes and for the operation, construction and maintenance of parish property. They are as follows:

2.13 mills, General Alimony tax on all taxable property inside the corporate limits of the Cities of Minden and Springhill

4.26 mills, General Alimony tax on all taxable property outside the corporate limits of the Cities of Minden and Springhill

2.78 mills for the maintenance and operation of the Webster Parish Courthouse and Annex, Webster Parish Health Unit and
Agricultural Extension Service

12.43 mills for acquiring, constructing, improving, furnishing, equipping, operating and/or maintaining public libraries in Webster Parish

2.70 mills for the construction, maintenance and repairing of roads and bridges located in Road District A of Webster Parish.
