The Webster Parish Council on Aging hosted the second Veteran’s “Meet and Greet,” Coffee, on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. There were fifteen in attendance. All Veterans of Webster Parish were invited to attend.
Our Veterans, who are so important for their sacrifice and service, who have paved the way for our freedom, and who have fought for and maintained the dignity of our country, are greatly appreciated!
At the Council on Aging, we want to assure our Veterans of the following:
To provide a safe and welcoming environment.
To encourage, support, and empower Veterans with knowledge and education.
To promote their dignity, independence, and hope.
To provide a place for a monthly “Meet and Greet” for Veterans of Webster Parish. (60 and above)
To encourage Veterans to reach out to the Veterans Crisis Line or proper resources if they are in need.
Members of the Webster Parish Veterans Safety Net Coalition were in attendance to answer questions and provide resources as well.
We will always respect and honor our Veterans!
God Bless them all.
