It is with great sadness that the family of Kimberly Kay Langheld Lewis announce that her hard –fought battle ended on Sunday, March 29, 2026.

Kim will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 10 years, Carter Lewis; son and daughter in law, Justin Tucker Cruse and Halea. And her most cherished granddaughter, Charli Beth or “Little Girl” as Kim loving referred to her as; Her precious mother, Wanda Langheld; sister/brother-in-law Mike and Brookie White; host of nieces and nephews. And countless treasured friends.

Preceded in death by her dad, Daniel J. Langheld affectionately known as “Danny” and her brother Cory D. Langheld; her beloved in Laws, Bryant and Heloise Lewis; grandparents James A. Tucker & Winifred V. Tucker; Christopher R. Langheld and Mineola Langheld.

Kim was born on December 25, 1968. She was a proud graduate of Minden High School.

The family expresses thanks to many in the health care field those that showed great compassion to her during this hard-fought battle.

Special love for her care-giver—Mrs. Linda Johnson. Your care for our family will hold a place in our hearts forever.

 Carlie Day, your voice for our family can never be repaid-please know that Kim was grateful for you daily.

And to Caron Humphreys and Meriwether Family for handling our business in our time of need—Thank you!

Although Kim’s time on Earth ended on March 29, 2026—WE know she brought her hard-fought, heartfelt, been –through hell hallelujah straight into the arms of Jesus! Although we are shattered that our time with her was cut short– we take comfort that Kim was saved and accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior.

 We would treasure your presence in celebrating her life on Wednesday, April 1st, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Haynesville Community Church, 8179 Hwy 534 Haynesville, LA, with Bro. Tim Cole officiating.  

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the church.

 Interment will be in the Ware’s Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of Haynesville, LA

Pallbearers to honor Kim, Cade Coleman, Broc Simpson, Logan Lewis, Conner Humphreys, Dawson Day, Keith Lonidier and Josh Wilkins.

Honorary Pallbearers: Clayton Bennett, Brad Simpson, “Big” Al Thomlinson, James “Mike” Thompson and Jerry Coleman.

Memorial Donations in Kim’s name may be made to the Animal Humane Society or any local animal shelter.
