MINDEN – The Glenbrook Lady Apaches played their final home game of the season Thursday, and before the game the school honored its three seniors. The three senior softball players are Jessica Mangrum, Gracyn Gorman and Katie Kidd.
The Lady Apaches made sure to send their seniors off in style with a 12-2 win.
The Apaches were led at the plate by two of their seniors, as Katie Kidd went 2-3 with a double, single and 3 RBI. Gracyn Gorman had a big game as well, going 2-3 with a double, single and 2 RBI.
Alyssa Martin was 2-3 with an RBI, Carsin Spurlock went 2-3 with 2 RBI and Amber Lovitt, Kate Marvin and Aubrie Dickson all contributed base hits and RBI’s.
“I want to thank these three seniors for their contributions to this school and this team,” head coach Jonathan Hardy said. “I enjoyed coaching these girls these past few years, and we’ll miss them very much.”
