Lakeside ends season with loss

SIBLEY – The Lakeside Warriors have had an up-and-down campaign, starting off hot, but then suffering a string of injuries and subsequent losses.

It finally came to an end Friday night when the Warriors fell to North Caddo, 74-52.

“In the beginning, it was 14-11 North Caddo,” Lakeside head coach Jason Gould said. “Then they went on a 15-0 run and went in at halftime up 29-11.”

North Caddo outscored Lakeside by 14 points in the third quarter to seal the deal.

Lakeside did manage to get hot in the fourth and end their season with a 28-point fourth quarter.

Monty Willis, who was a constant scoring threat the second half of the season, led Lakeside with 16 points, followed by Jalen Gould with 11 points, Djimon Lard with 11 points and Damion Coleman added eight points.
