Lakeside Gent Pageant is Saturday, proceeds go to St. Jude Auction

SIBLEY — Fourteen guys from Lakeside High School will be “cuttin’ footloose” Saturday night to raise money for the kids of St. Jude.

The annual Lakeside Gent Pageant will take place at 7 p.m. in the Lakeside Jr. High Gym. Admission is $5.

Pageant Coordinator Jenny Clark said the theme of the pageant is Gents Cuttin’ Footloose and will feature an opening number, “What I want to be when I grow up” round and a formal wear round.

Entrants include Monty Willis, Andre Loftin, Zachary Zaldivar, Austin Pike, Hank Ashley, Johnathan Clark, Kholer Hulion, Nolan Young, Matthew Wiggins, Djimon Lard, Colten Reno, Braden Jones, Jake Gray and Jalen Gould.

The annual Lakeside Gent Pageant will be at 7 p.m. Saturday at Lakeside Jr./Sr. High School in Sibley. The audience will be able to vote for their favorite gent by donating money. The gent with the most donations will be named crowd favorite.

The guy with the highest scores from all the judges will be named Lakeside Gent.

All proceeds from the pageant will be donated to the Minden St. Jude Auction.
