Lakeside outhits Calvary in losing effort

by Minden Press-Herald

SHREVEPORT – The Lakeside Warriors outhit Calvary 9 to 5 in Thursday’s district tilt, a rematch of Tuesday’s Lakeside win. Unfortunately, the Warriors couldn’t get runners in to score once they reached base, and Calvary came away with a 4-2 win.

Jayke Stewart had the only 2 RBIs for Lakeside, while Cameron Gray and Bradyen Jones added doubles for the Warriors.

Gray pitched five innings and was the losing pitcher. Gray pitched well, striking out five batters and allowing only five hits. Errors played an important role in the game, with Lakeside committing three to Calvary’s zero.
