The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, there will be lane closures on I-20 at the LA 531 overpass in Minden as part of the bridge replacement project.
The inside (left) lane of I-20 eastbound will close from approximately 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
The inside (left) lane of I-20 westbound will then close from approximately 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The purpose of these lane closures is to allow the contractor to install temporary barrier rail, as well as mobilize other equipment and material on site in order to prepare to begin construction on the new bridge.
